Written for children in Uganda, these fun poems depict well-known Bible stories in a bite size format.

Friends who were volunteering in Uganda asked me to work with their other friend, Lynnie Rawlings, to create books to use in the school.
Lynnie created some fantastic poety and I illustrated them.

I have seen footage of the children using them and it's very heart-warming!
Daniel's Challenge
The King was very frightened,
He sighed “Oh goodness me,
A solution to my problem,
Is very hard to see.
A pride of roaring lions,
Are in the Den and so,
To be completely honest,
I’m feeling pretty low!”
“Don’t worry, sir,” said Daniel,
“I’ll go and tame them now,
For I am pretty certain,
The Lord will show me how,”
But when he saw the lions,
He got rather frightened too,
Till an angel smiled “Don’t worry,
I know just what to do.”
Then she made the lions silent,
And even loose their bite,
This meant that as he tamed them,
Brave Daniel was alright!
