Droitwich Arts Network - The Hub
2023
As part of Droitwich Arts Network, I helped set up our new Community Hub, now located St Andrews Square, Droitwich, between Holland & Barrett and Quality Crust Bakehouse.

It is a community space. If people are shopping or just walking through Droitwich, they can come in, sit down, and relax. They can browse the books and magazines, and look at the artwork.

We have used this venue to host a variety of events such as Dabble Days, where the public can come and try out different media, members meetings, demonstrations and much more. It has alos been used by other organisations to advertise their work, as a base for meetings and as a venue to host events such as comedies during the Rik Mayall Festival and a NHS Health and Well-being event.
We do not serve food or drinks but visitors were welcome to bring in a take-away drink from one of the cafes or shops.

The pictures and craft items were all produced by members of Droitwich Arts Network. The artwork is for sale but nobody will push a visitor into buying anything.
The Hub is open on Mondays and Fridays from 10am to 4pm, and on Saturdays from 10am to 3.30pm.
[EDIT]The Hub has now closed but we are waiting to move into our new location.
