Mural for St. Peter's First School

My old Primary School, St. Peter's CEVA First School, commissioned me to produce a mural to hang in their hall using their motto "We Care, We Share, We tell the Truth".

My design shows the children holding up the words, starting at the school and leading to St. Peter's Church which is just down the road. The school is connected with this Church and the children often make the short walk to services, as indeed I did during my time there! The mural is full of subtle Christian symbols such as the cross, a candle and the Bible.

It was quite a challenge to work on such a large scale but thankfully the weather was dry so I could complete some of the panels outside. I am told that the children love the mural and it will hopefully hang there for many years to come.
