“New Wonky Droitwich Painting!”

Launching at the St. Richard's Canal Festival - Saturday 2nd to Monday 4th May, 10-5pm, Vines Park, Droitwich Spa

I am so EXCITED to unveil my NEW painting during my first festival of the year, the St. Richard's Canal Festival at the beginning of May.

'Wonky Droitwich 1960s' is a vibrant and quirky depiction of the town’s famously wobbly High Street as it appeared in the decade.

I had great fun researching the shops that occupied the High Street during the 1960s and reaching out to Droitwich residents through local Facebook groups. As a fan of vintage fashion, I also loved exploring the styles of the era.

The famous ‘boy on the bike’, who appears in all of my Droitwich paintings, makes a return—but this time without his modern headphones!

Due to high demand for commissions, this is the first new original release in several years, making it a rare opportunity for the public to view a ‘Rosie Philpott original’.

The original painting — A1 in size and set in a solid oak frame — will be available for purchase, alongside a limited run of giclée prints in A2 and A3 sizes.

Visitors can view the new piece and meet me in person at my stall during the St Richard’s Canal Festival, taking place in Vines Park, Droitwich Spa, from Saturday 2nd to Monday 4th May.

I hope to see you there and I hope you love the new painting!
